Quadrello is a soft cheese reminiscent of the typical Lombard stracchini, aged for at least 30 days. With a slightly moist orange crust, it has a fatty and consistent paste, which smells of cooked milk and herbs. In the mouth the taste is full because of the fatness of the pasta, but the aromatic freshness encourages its consumption.
The Quadrello is perfect for aperitifs and appetizers, a soft cheese, which we recommend you combine with a slightly fruity white wine.
Quattro Portoni was born from the cultivation of agricultural land in the 50s, until the radical turning point in 2000 that led to the breeding of Mediterranean buffaloes. In years of passionate work, breeding and feeding buffaloes, they have developed the processing of milk according to traditional canons. A thousand Mediterranean buffaloes, treated directly by Alfio Gritti, a veterinary doctor of great experience and professionalism, who guarantees their well-being.
The punctual and cyclical organization of the processes, carried out by the master cheesemakers, lead to the birth of buffalo cheeses, appreciated and rewarded all over the world.
